Hurricane Rosa Projected To Become A Category 3 Hurricane: The Weather Channel is already offering headlines such as, “Rosa in the Eastern Pacific Could Have Impacts on the Southwest” and “Hurricane Rosa Could Soak the Desert Southwest Next Week.

SoCal Impact – Swells? The National Hurricane Center (NHC) said there were no coastal watches or warnings in effect, but swells generated by Rosa would affect portions of the coast of southwestern Mexico and the southern Baja California Peninsula in Mexico later this week into the weekend. “These swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions,” the hurricane center said.

09/26/2018 CBS News reports, “Tropical Storm Rosa likely to be a major hurricane soon, forecasters say.” This has already happened.
