Saturday is typically my day to go to the downtown Kona farmer’s market, then drop off trash.  The farmer’s market is now closed, as is most of the town. Here are a few pictures showing ‘life’ around town…

Where’s the aloha?

The neighbor of the above person captured ‘Poppy’ then took him to the Kona dump and ‘threw the cat out.” Then the neighbor said, “Oops, I didn’t know it was your cat…”

These are other abandoned cats, thrown out by their uncaring owners. They have no food, nor water, unless strangers bring it to them. At least there is some aloha exhibited above.
