Adoptions are our main goal. By finding homes for shelter animals, a life is saved. Thousands of animals are homeless and come into our shelters every year. Adopting a shelter animal is a rewarding experience. Shelter animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, licensed and behavior and health tested saving you time and money. You can be confident that you will be adopting a healthy animal. In addition to dogs and cats, we frequently have rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and even horses, goats & turtles. What is the value of a pet from HIHS?
